Gum Copal is a natural resin obtained from Agathis Coranthifolia. This tree species is found mainly in Sulawesi and Java, Indonesia. Being soluble in alcohol, gum copal's quality is graded and determined mainly by the hardness, the lump's size, the purity level and the color. Dark brown to sharp yellow is how the color varies.
Usage :
It applies as ingredients of lacquer, varnish, paint, dental fillings, paper coating, linoleum, adhesive and similar products.

Main quality available are PWS, WS, LAS, DBB, U and P grades.
