Bouya Agarwood (Kayubouya) is an Indonesian fragrant, resin-impregnated wood valued mainly for its aromatic, fumigatory and medicinal properties found in the species of the Aetoxylon genus under the same family of Aquilaria's agarwood, Thymelaeaceae. Its habitat is in Molucca, Kalimantan and Papua. The occurrence of the tree does not guarantee the presence of the resin within. Estimated only 10% of the Aetoxylon trees in the forest that contain gaharu. Indonesia is one of the world's major producer of gaharu products.
